As President of Windstar Cruises, Christopher Prelog takes on the role of

Christopher Prelog has taken on the position of president, Windstar Cruises has reported. Prelog reports to the CEO of Windstar Cruises and the Xanterra Travel Collection, Andrew N. Todd.

Prelog is a veteran of the hospitality world and actually started his career with Seabourn in the cruise industry, first as a waiter, then in on-board hotel operations and eventually as head of all ship operations before joining Windstar almost four years ago.

In Austria, Prelog worked with Hilton Hotels before joining the cruise industry.

He holds a degree in hotel management and accounting from Florida International University in Miami, as well as certificates from Harvard's Kennedy School, Cornell University, and Austria's Higher Tourism Institute.

“Chris is the perfect person for this role,” stated Todd, “As Windstar’s Chief Operating Officer, he has
led the $250 million dollar Star Plus investment in expanding and renovating our three all-suite yachts
in addition to managing our operations through this pandemic. His in-depth knowledge and expertise
of the small ship cruise business combined with his collaborative leadership style have won the hearts,
minds and respect of the Windstar crew and corporate team alike.”

Prelog looks forward to meeting the new challenge.
